We know that Tickle and Briscoe are both off and Galea and Ogre are both retiring,so who else would you get rid of?..heres my list and reasons why

Lynch-Not a shadow of the player he was and age finally catching up with him.

Westerman-not lived up to his price tag,not kicked on at all from signing for us,is lazy in defence and is a glory hit and pass player but usually achieves neither.

Johnson-not big or good enough.

Arundle-not as good as either Crooks or Yeaman and not the type of player to take us forward.

Crookes-As bad as Briscoe under a high board and looks very unfit.

Thought Lynch was good today although he hasn't hit the heights of last season. Arundel was hitting some good form before his injury and has a lot of potential. Johnson is a bit of an unsung hero for me, he is a workhorse and his defence is outstanding. Agree on Westerman and I would add Yeaman to the list too.

Would agree with all of those, but I'd add Yeaman in...been a great player for us, but his best days have been and gone and he doesn't offer much value as a squad player as he can only play Centre.

I think you have to remember that Arundel is still a young kid, I wouldn't write him off as a failure until he gets a bit more game time

Lynch - Age seems to have caught up with him very quickly this year. Hasn't had an outstanding game all season.

Crookes - Hasn't had much time to shine, but I don't think any team can afford to carry small wingers nowadays just as bad as Briscoe in the air.

Yeaman - He's had his day at Hull FC and has been a great player for us, but he's 28 (I think) and he still can't pass. About time we signed a centre who can put his winger away.

Westerman - I'm 50/50 on him he shows glimpse of talent but not enough of it. I don't get the 'hasn't lived upto his price tag' it's not his fault our old board paid a crazy amount for him.

Players like Arundel, Johnson and Jay Pitts are good squad players and do a job when they come in to the 17. I wouldn't get rid of any of these but they wouldn't be first choice.

Singling Yeaman out for what is essentially poor coaching is just wrong.

You blaming Gentle for that as well?

Yeaman has had the same strengths and weaknesses under a succession of coaches. I haven't seen anyone single him out, either.

Was it poor coaching when Yeamo decided to not look inside to see if there was any support against Leeds? He can't pass and even when he does he looks so uncomfortable in doing so, it's pretty embarrassing.

Lynch had a better game today I thought. What Johnson lacks in size he makes up for in enthusiasm, and is a great tackler.

Get rid of Arundel - so what about when Yeaman/Crooks get injured? He's had some poor and some decent matches for us, but without any consistent game time I would be very surprised if he is as good as the consistent playing players. Same goes for Crookes.

And why do we care about what the club paid for Westerman? Like I've said a million times before, it's not his fault he was bought for a massive price tag. He was in great form in the first half of the season, his form seems to have dropped like most of the pack.

I'm more concerned by Houghton's inability to pass than Yeaman's. However this fact seems to get massively overlooked.
