The Dons need four points from their last two games to be certain of finishing fourth.

If we slip up, Sheffield and Dewsbury will be hoping to take advantage.

Sheffield are away to Featherstone on Sunday, then away to Rochdale. Dewsbury are at home to Keighley and then away at Workington. Both Sheffield and Dewsbury are three points behind us, but both have much better points differences.

If our appeal against the three points we were deducted is upheld, it would mean we only need a bonus point from either of the two games to be sure of finishing fourth.

We may know the result of the appeal before Sunday's game.

The problem with reversing decisions is stubbornness gets in the way.
I would think a whole lot better about the RFL if they actually listened and showed some common sense.
I can't see that happening any time soon .......

For me, it's essential that both ourselves and Batley understand exactly where we stand before another game is played. Wonder if the RFL can do the right thing here?

If it's true that the Dons had concerns, checked with the RFL and were assured by a 'Senior Official' that the player could play, then the RFL must accept their part in this too.

Back to Sunday's fixture, it will be interesting to see how Halifax react to losing the '£250k match'. I know what I'm hoping for

The Doncaster Brewery Tap is on Young Street not far from the Olde Angel and Cask Corner (both on Cleveland Street).

I've only been in once so far as it has some unusual opening hours. When it first opened, it was only open 3 days per week, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday and had early closing hours, 9 or 10pm.

Perhaps another visit is due to see how things have moved on.

Do you still have to buy tickets from the office or is there a cash turnstile now ?

They had a cash turnstile for the Featherstone game. I don't think they've had a cash turnstile for any other matches.
