The Lord Rodney now has Ray Fisher in charge and apparently will be refurbed in May does anyone still use the Rodney for a Pre-match drink?
I know a lot of away fans tend to aim for the Rodney...

The Red Lion has a relief manager on board after the previous owners gave it up (possibly due to the ill health of the landlord not sure on the facts)...

Does everyone still use the same pub for a pre match drink or have you swapped and changed?

In all seriousness, noticed the advert for the Rodney today in the Guardian. Looks good, apparently they are having a post match disco and doing a bit to promote the pub with future activities.
If anyone can make it a success, you'd have to assume it would be Ray Fisher.

I usually go in the Red Lion, although its desperately in need of some fresh paint...



But the beers ok.

Ray Fisher now owns the pub, doesn't he? With Shaun Potter as the manager, or something along those lines...

Now i know Ray Fisher is in charge i might be giving the Rodney a whirl..
Then a name change will be in order...

popped into the red lion prior to the hull kr friendly and popped straight back out,what a state it's in now,went to the rodney and that was a bit frayed around the edges too.

Eric from the Red Lion died and his wife decided not to keep the licence on. I used to go the Lion but now always go the Rodney as its much nicer. The lion has been closed with the releif manager only opening for certain requests when he knows he'll get a few in like pool night on a Wednesday.

I went in the Original Wire to meet a Uni mate once. In I walked in my Saints shirt, and it was one of those, every body look round at the fresh meat, until my mate came over and everyone carried on what they were doing.

It has to be the Railway club. Looks like a bomb shelter from the front but is like the tardis as soon as you walk through the door. Matchdays just wouldn't be the same, especially derby days..........

The Manx?

Traditionally it was always the Bulls Head. Sunday afternoon bowling green and whatnot. Nowadays it's Wetherspoons tbh, much nicer place.
