I will probably get shot down for this, but...

Jordan Turner shouldn't be anywhere near the 6 or 7 positions.

He has no initiative to do his own thing, every time he gets the ball he does what it says in the playbook.

Richard Horne, Sean Long, Sam Obst and dare I say, Danny Washbrook might call for the ball to perform a 'set play' but if that play is no longer on, they will do their own thing.

Turner recieves the ball and passes it.. He is not an answer to our problem.

He should never be playing there again.

Dont agree. Turner wasnt too bad on sunday imo. He put a neat little pass out for one of Yeamans tries and the bullet pass was only slightly out and that would of put Lyne away. Id rather have Turner at S/O than Washy

Agreed, seemed to try something different at least and took it to the line at every opportunity. We dropped a couple of his passes that also could of led to opportunities.

It's a hard one to really be definitive on yet. I agree he doesn't seem to have any initiative but surely that starts to come the more gametime you have in that position.
Washy is a real no-no in that position for me though.

Agree in part. I think he did OK yesterday with the ball as we showed up much better as a team inside the opposition's 20 and he played his part in that. I don't agree Washbrook would do better. However he was described as a running SO and I think that's a fair description - nippy and off-the-cuff he certainly isn't.

I hope he doesn't have to play there again now we have both Obst and Phelps who can do a decent job at 6, but he was the best option yesterday. The fact that Washy never even made the bench yesterday leaving us with no cover at 6,7, or 9 speaks volumes imho.

Im going to defend Turner here, imo its down to your coach to get the best out of your players especially the younger ones when it comes to pointing them in the right direction. It seems the coach just throws kids a shirt and says "your playing 6 this week, you know what to do"
